Best way to move BTC to another chain

Holding Bitcoin and want to use some in DeFi on other chains , earn yield, swap, etc. But trying to avoid centralized exchanges .

What's reliable for moving BTC to Ethereum or Solana while staying non-custodial? If you've done this recently, let me know what worked. Thanks.
