I would just like to announce to the crypto world that I have recovered my BCH off my old btc.com wallet using the pdf recovery sheet and password.

This wouldn't sound like much to many. Wow you could use a recovery sheet to wow? recover your crypto.

You have a non-existent company with a defunct online recovery system that doesn't even work for Bitcoin as all the API links are broken, let alone the option for sweeping Bitcoin cash. The support email is unmanned. The previously official btc.com/blocktrail reps on Bitcoin talk don't want a bar from you.

You have multiple recovery keys all encrypted on a pdf with QR codes and a password and left with no fucking idea how it hangs together, what's important and how to decode it.

Previously just chucked it the bottom draw, but after 13 years in crypto world I am in the forunate position to liquidate everything to buy an okish house (even at these prices (crypto and houses lol))

So after 24 hours I have built a completely offline python script (need to check bulk addresses in electron cash view-only to know which one(s) have funds to calculate correct keys). You don't need to put your pdf or private keys online or share with anyone at any point to have, in my case, cash in the bank.

If anyone finds this post and is interested in the python script I can share with you. I don't want your private key information, how much you have etc. I am completely out of crypto with a sigh of frustration and relief. I would just help anyone that was caught in that fucked up position I was in 25 hours ago.
