Btc is just fomo

Someone please explain to me how it’s more than just FOMO. I understand that currency and inflation is ridiculous and a fixed amount of currency wouldn’t allow for inflation. However I can’t see it over taking the dollar or any currency especially after our generations.

I know the price is directly tied to the block chain mining.

But how please tell me how this isn’t just FOMO
