Could someone explain it to me like I am a 5 year old?

How do we know for sure eventually satoshi won't be pulling the rug under all of us with his 1.1 mill BTC in his wallet? Thats my only concern about bitcoin and why I have not converted all my assets into bitcoin yet. I am diversified, but if I can convince myself of this I may become a btxmaxi.
