In France, Disney is bringing Scrooge McDuck back to life with a new comic strip, featuring the famous billionaire duck who's getting into... cryptocurrencies.

"Scrooge McDuck and the Bit-Coin-Coins" is out October 8th with Glenat.

Here's the synopsis of the comic strip:

"Sitting on his pile of gold, Balthazar Scrooge seems out of touch with the times... But when he learns that the title of "the richest duck in the world" has been stolen by the mysterious Carsten, the new tech fortune, his duck blood boils. Supported by the brilliant Gyro Gearloose and his nephews, who have become influencers, he throws himself headlong into modernity: virtual currencies, followers, and "duckface" selfies. But Carsten, with the help of the Beagle Boys, manages to siphon off Scrooge McDuck's accounts in a treacherous cyberattack!"
