Estate lawyers literally have no clue how bitcoin works

Spent the last three weeks trying to set up a basic trust for my family because I don't want my stack lost forever if something stupid happens to me

The amount of "professional" estate attorneys who charge $600/hr and still think bitcoin is a physical coin stored on a usb stick is mind blowing. one guy literally suggested I just sell it all for ETFs so it's "easier to manage on paper". like yeah, defeat the whole purpose of self custody, great idea man.

Eventually just had to route it through dag for the legal structuring because trying to teach a 65 year old lawyer what a seed phrase is was actually draining my soul.

How are you guys handling this? do you just leave a physical treasure map for your kids or what? The legacy legal system is so hopelessly far behind.
