ETF inflows are back, but BTC still can’t hold $80k

US spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled in $3.52 billion in August and another $770 million in early September. BTC is still trading around $78k after spending roughly two weeks below $80k.

The ETFs also remain about $1 billion in the red for the year, so the recent inflows don’t give me enough reason to size up yet.

My confirmation level is $80k, and $77k is where the setup starts to fall apart. I may open a small position before the breakout, then add if BTC closes above $80k and holds that level on a retest. If $77k breaks, I’ll close it and reassess.

I’d keep a setup in a separate BTC perp position with isolated margin. That keeps the risk tied to this one trade, although it still depends on me respecting the $77k exit if the setup fails.

The ETF flows give me a bullish bias. Price still decides how much risk I take.

Would you enter with a small position here, or wait for a clean close above $80k?
