First irl bitcoin transaction for me

Remedy cafe in Edmonton Canada. I expected a hassle, but once I said Bitcoin they just typed it into the iPad and I scanned the invoice.

An employee came from the back and yelled “Bitcoin in real life!”

Overall awesome experience, and I’d definitely pay with lightning again.

Fee was only $0.02, compared to $0.05-$0.10 for merchants to accept normal Canadian debit cards.
