This harms the confidence in crypto

Imagine you live in a south east country and you bought coldcard because you thought it was safe. And you got screwed. Then people adviced you to buy a hardware wallet from a real global market player like Trezor or Ledger. You bought a Ledger and you got scammed again. After that you thought I’m done with those hardware wallet bullsht. I will keep them at Binance. Aaaand it’s gone.

Ofcourse this is a hypothetical case. But let’s be real. All those things affect the confidence in crypto big time.
