What makes Bitcoin so valuable?

You may give me the answer that it's valuable due to its scarcity and it's inability to be inflated. I know that drives the price of Bitcoin.

But that doesn't explain why it's valuable, what's it's backed by? Stocks are backed by the profits/losses of a company. I know gold and silver are valuable due to their scarcity aswell but what actually determines the price of Bitcoin?
