Who’s buying more Bitcoin rn?

Hey guys, I’ve never owned any kind of crypto- but seeing how badly the stocks crashing I’m thinking of putting some money into it. I don’t have a lot of money, but I know you can buy marginal shares. I’ll do my research on that and then I’ll buy some BTC since it’s tanked so hard recently. But my question is, the typical person investing in Bitcoin should be thinking “average down” and I’m wondering why people aren’t and why it crashed so hard so fast these last few days- Are large companies invested heavily in bitcoin averaging down, or are they the ones selling this? Is there a way to tell?
