You would be very well off here in Africa, Angola, if you had the value of one Bitcoin.

Of course, that depends on each person’s standard of living. This is just my perspective, that of a young man living in Angola, where the minimum wage is $74. Just to give you an idea, my father earns $55 as a security guard.

With the value of a full Bitcoin, you could buy several properties here. You could do a lot. In my case, I would retire, sell half, that is, convert it to fiat currency, and invest it in local fixed income, which yields about 16% per year. But with annual inflation of 19 to 20%, I’d technically be losing money, though I would still live very well.

Too bad it’s just a dream, $100k is lifetime money. I guess my entire family never reached this amount
